approx. 1 kg apples, 2 cups of sugar, 4 eggs, 1 cup of oil, 3 spoons of spelt flour, 1 package of baking powder, 1 package of vanilla sugar, salt, the zest of a lemon, 1/2 a cup of mineral water; cinnamon, sugar and butter for the tin, 1 package jelly, sugar and wine for the icing
PREPARATION:
Whisk together butter and egg yolks. Add curd cheese, semolina and salt - and leave to rest for approx. one hour.
Afterwards carefully add the beaten egg whites. Form small dumplings with wet hands and let them simmer in lightly salted water for approx. 15 minutes.
For the strawberry puree clean the fresh strawberries, mush them and add a little sugar and/or lemon juice to your liking.
Put the dumplings into roasted breadcrumbs and sugar - and arrange with the strawberry puree.
